In the course of the summer season, a brand new hashtag took over social media: #CardboardCraig. This artistic stunt, orchestrated by Ruppert Landscape’s human assets and public relations crew, despatched a cardboard cutout of Ruppert Panorama CEO Craig Ruppert to branches and areas throughout the nation and shared Ruppert’s journey exploits on its social media accounts.
Cardboard Craig even visited Panorama Administration’s headquarters in Downtown Cleveland with a photograph op on the Rock & Roll Corridor of Fame and a Cleveland signal with the town’s skyline within the background.
A enjoyable thought
Camily Vernier, advertising communications supervisor for Ruppert Panorama, says the inspiration got here from Ruppert Nurseries, the sister firm to the panorama operations. The nursery makes use of a life-size cutout of Nick Graves, farm operations supervisor, as a reference level when showcasing large-caliper timber.
“Members of our human assets and public relations crew initially borrowed that idea and created a life-sized cutout of Craig for a photograph sales space at our firm picnic,” Vernier says. “As soon as the occasion was over, we thought, why not have a bit of enjoyable with it? That’s after we determined to ship Craig on the street to go to our numerous department areas.”
Vernier factors out that the actual Craig Ruppert visits branches as usually as he can.
“However with virtually 30 areas and rising, he merely can’t be in all places directly,” she says. “We figured we may carry some smiles to our groups together with his stand-in and see what sort of adventures he will get as much as alongside the way in which.”

Vying for a go to
The naturally humble Ruppert was a bit shocked by his cardboard counterpart.

“I believe he’s amused total and simply glad to know that persons are completely satisfied to see him, even in cardboard kind,” Vernier says.
To this point, Cardboard Craig visited 10 of the corporate’s branches — the farthest being Lilburn, Ga. Vernier says she hopes Cardboard Craig could make it to the corporate’s Houston department quickly too. Different notable photograph ops embrace the cockpit of a Southwest flight to Ruppert’s Raleigh, N.C., department; the Blue Ridge Parkway; the Appalachian Path; and the Atlantic Ocean after a go to to Ruppert’s Delmarva, Del., department.
“Our groups are getting a kick out of it and are all vying for a go to from Cardboard Craig,” she says. “I believe it brings a component of enjoyable to our busy day-to-day and reminds us that Ruppert Panorama actually is one large household, and as our CEO and founder, Craig is type of like a father determine to us all.”
