Douglas County, OR (OR) – On January 10, 2023, at round 8:27 p.m., OSP assisted in an incident between a bicycle and automobile on HWY 42, on the intersection of Grant Smith Street, near milepost 76.5 in Douglas County, OR.
In response to early findings, a Dodge Ram 3500 truck pushed by Robert Howerton, 76-year-old of Winston was heading west on Freeway 42 within the quick lane when it collided with a motorcycle, Michael Allen Davis, 34-year-old of Roseburg, who was transferring south throughout the Freeway 42/Grant Smith Street intersection.
The biker was taken by EMS to Mercy Medical Heart, the place he was declared useless by medical doctors. The operator of the Dodge 3500 immediately pulled over and took part fully with the inquiry.
