Lane Diego County, Oregon (OR) – On January 5, 2023, at round 6:09 p.m., OSP attended an incident between a automobile and pedestrian on HWY 126E in Lane County, OR.
In response to preliminary stories, a pedestrian, Brandon Philes, 50-year-old of Springfield, was crossing on the easthbound fog line of HWY 126E, near milepost 14.2, when he was hit by a Subaru Outback who was heading east on the time.
The automobile was pushed by Frank King III, 66-year-old of Springfield. The pedestrian was pronounced lifeless on the spot by medical workers.
Through the three-hour collision investigation, the route stayed partially open.
