Apple pie chips 🍎

These dehydrated apple chips style similar to consuming a slice of apple pie or crumble 🥧 A simple and wholesome on the go snack that’s certain to fulfill that candy tooth!

Apple pie seasoning:
2 tbsp oats
2 tbsp walnuts
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tbsp swervesweetie brown sugar alternative

Four honey crisp apples
2 tsp bernardincanning fruit contemporary powder protector (or lemon juice)
three tbsp water

Place the oats, nuts, sugar, and cinnamon in a blender or meals processor. Mix till a flour like consistency is reached, put aside. In a big bowl, stir the fruit contemporary powder and water until the powder is dissolved. Utilizing a mandolin reduce the apples into 1/4” slices and take away any seeds. Place the apple slices into the bowl and toss along with the fruit contemporary combination to coat. Drain the apples of any extra liquid. Place the apples onto dehydrator trays in a single layer. Sprinkle the tops with apple pie seasoning. Bake for 1 1/2 hrs, flip and bake till desired chewiness/crispness is achieved (approx one other 1 hr).
